Core Zones (6 Gates)
The untouched central sanctuary (Moharli, Kolara, Navegaon, Khutwanda, Pangdi, Zari). Highly restricted vehicle entry, deep waterbodies, and historical territory of legendary tigers. Core gates remain closed during the peak monsoon season (July to September).
Buffer Zones (12 Gates)
Surrounding peripheral forests (Agwarzari, Junona, Devada, Kolara Buffer, Madnapur, etc.). Open throughout the year, buffer gates offer fantastic tiger sightings, night safaris, and high leopard density with less vehicle crowding.
